About Stephen

Following his graduation from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2015, Stephen began his legal career as a Staff Attorney at the South Carolina Supreme Court. He spent several years at the Court before starting a solo practice. He subsequently left private practice to return to the Supreme Court as the Deputy Chief Staff Attorney. Following his time at the Court, he joined the civil litigation firm Lewis, Blain, Roberts & Boyd, where he focused on commercial litigation, civil defense, and various tort matters.

Prior to law school, Stephen served as a Green Beret in the United States Army Special Forces, and he is a veteran of the Iraq War. In addition to his time in the military, he worked in business development, marketing, and security consulting.  Stephen also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Darla Moore School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Clemson University.

Stephen represents clients across South Carolina in a variety of civil litigation matters, including various tort matters, insurance defense, corporate defense, premises liability, automobile insurance, worker’s compensation defense, and products liability.
