About Deanene
Early in her legal career, Deanene worked as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney. This dual perspective on criminal law honed her trial advocacy skills and gave her a solid foundation in criminal procedure and litigation strategy. The next chapter of her career involved serving in South Carolina state government, including her role as General Counsel for the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department, where she focused on handling complex administrative and civil matters. Through this work, she developed a thorough understanding of government processes, regulatory compliance, and high-stakes legal advocacy.
In private practice, Deanene applies her extensive litigation experience to defend businesses and individuals in a variety of civil matters. Her practice emphasizes strategic counsel while navigating the intersection of regulatory oversight and industry operations. Known for meticulous preparation and a client-focused approach, she is dedicated to achieving effective solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
Outside of the office, Deanene enjoys spending time with family and volunteering with various service organizations.
